Sheryl Bitter becomes a Bengal

1112-fd-bitterSHELLEY  -  Sheryl Bitter, a three year starter and senior leader of the Shelley High School Lady Russet basketball team, made it official Wednesday morning as she signed a national letter of intent to attend Idaho State University.

First impressions of ISU basketball

1104-fd-gilchrestI had an opportunity to watch the newest version of Bengal Basketball last night at Reed Gym.  Amid all the excitement of a new season, last nights effort gave me a few first impressions and a ton of questions.  READER OPINION:  Media and coaches have the Bengals making the tournament at a three or four seed.  What do you think?  Will the Bengals make it to the big dance this year? Idaho State picked last in both preseason polls

Ogden, UT — The Idaho State University Bengals, who will play one of the hardest schedules in the Football Championship Sub-Division, have been picked to finish ninth by both the media and the coaches in the 2009 preseason Big Sky Conference pools, which were released by the conference office this afternoon.

ISU removes interim tag on Tingey

Idaho State removed the interim tag on Tingey today after fifteen months on the job as the athletic director.  Tingey is a local guy and so far has seemed to have made all the right decisions and is now officially ISU’s athletic director.

Josh Hill to be a Bengal

ISU has confirmed what I broke in Monday morning’s edition of The Morning News that Josh Hill has indeed came home to Southeastern Idaho to play football for the Bengals.
